 Welcome November!

We had so much fun exploring our Family Theme and learning about each other. Thank you to all of our families for the efforts you put forth creating your "Family Houses". The children have loved looking at all the pictures and sharing them with their friends.





We also spent some time exploring shapes and sorting. We discovered that shapes are all around us, and also sorting helps us organize information. Take a look at how we explored these concepts.


Our Family Unit focused on working together and helping each other. We found lots of ways to work together and help each other in our classroom!

We explored literature about how our families help us and came up with a list of ways Moms and Dads help!

Our Science lesson focused on Solids, Liquids and Gases. The students were very interested in our experiment of solids and liquids. We froze water to create a snowman (the class named him Olaf!) and we made predictions about what we thought would happen to him if we left him on a table during our school day. It was quite exciting! :)

Our new Nature All Around Us theme began with a walk around our school to search for signs of Spring! We found lots of signs that things are...
